Microsoft has revealed that they are currently testing a built-in feature for Edge Canary that will allow its users to connect securely to Public Wifi networks.

It ensures your privacy by masking your device’s IP address, encrypting user data and routing the web connections through a safe network.

This new feature makes it difficult for an Internet Service provider to collect the browsing data and it also prevents the Ad sharing companies to use your browsing data to show the related ads.

Currently, Microsoft will be providing 1 GB of free data every month.

Since this feature is related to the usage of data hence it will be customizable as per the user’s need so, you can turn the feature off while streaming videos as it uses huge data.

This feature though will only protect your privacy and won’t be serving the feature to change your region.
