4 free things that can change your life

4 things that come free and can change your life: Often I complain that if I would have that then I could have done that, it would have good contacts I would have been at a better place, if  I would have rich parents then I wouldn’t have to suffer and so on.

 There is a very famous you tuber maybe you have heard of “Superwoman” whom I follow very closely said in one of her vlogs that anyone can be you tuber reason because there is so much free knowledge available that you can be anyone and can achieve anything. We are so much derived with the cliched way of knowing that we never really acknowledge the actual sources we have around us and the best part is you don’t need to pay any fees or any enrolment for that. And let me just clear out by source of knowledge I don’t mean any 15 class course to learn any new language or any new way to enhance your resume. With the source of knowledge I really mean the ways we can improve our way of living, the way of approaching any problem and that eventually will not only shape our personality but will also change the way of our living. Here are some of those ;

Criticism

One thing that can be easily found and surprisingly in abundance is criticism. See there are only a handful of people who loves you and appreciate you but there can be anyone who criticizes you, it can be anyone who knows you or can be even a stranger. Now I am not saying that take any random comment as criticism but the ones that pinch you. Now when you get that shrapnel piercing your happiness what you do naturally is that you will feel bad, you’ll think about that whole day and then sleep over it. The next day when you see the same person you’ll either ignore or will gossip about that with your friend. But what did you actually got out of that?
Negativity, self-criticism…? But it is all harmful stuff is there anything positive you can really get out of this? You’ll say no but I’ll say yes you can.
As I always said there are always different ways of seeing the same situation or thing. From one angle you see it as criticism or in a way being offended but if you slightly change your angle that person has actually appreciated you or acknowledge your work in a bad way. Difficult way to put it I know….. It's simple if someone has tried to pull you down you definitely are way up and above from them. So next time when someone criticizes you, always remember that you are definitely plus from him in some sense and put a smile on your face and say “Thank You for your word of appreciation, I’ll work even harder”.

Feedback

Now, this is definitely free, every working person is aware of what I am talking about. Year-end we have been called into a meeting room to discuss what all went wrong and what went right. I’ll be honest to you earlier I used to be an all praise person, only giving my attention to what I did right and all that time when my manager is actually telling me what went wrong I was actually checking cricket score. After all, managers have this habit of cribbing to justify our ratings. But eventually, I realized I really need to work upon my self and interestingly all of those areas have already been pointed by my manager. Like we need a mirror to see ourselves while we can see others with our own pair of eyes, similarly, we need someone else to tell us how are we doing and where we can improve.
While criticism and feedback both are just the comments from others but there is a very major and basic difference and that is ‘intention’. While criticism is intended to hurt someone, feedback is intended for a potential scope of improvement and this should be taken like that.

Motivation

Google says motivation is the external force that pulls you to get up and work. Now this force is not some literal force where you are pulled by some chains or ropes but it’s an emotional force that you feel in terms of positivity, by being ambitious. Now motivation can be easily faded by feelings of jealousy. Your friend getting settled outside the country, motivated or jealous? It's up to you! While motivation can really put you on your toes and will make you twice work hard, jealousy will only make you stick you’re a** on a couch with potato chips on your side to make you even fatter.
You don’t even have to wait for your friend to get promoted in order to feel motivated just go to youtube and type motivation and you’ll find thousands of stories to motivate you, again free.

Inspiration

Most people confuse motivation and inspiration while they are two very different things. Where motivation is an outside force that pulls you, inspiration is actually an inward force that pushes you. The difference is you can get yourself motivated by watching movies, having an idol in your life; inspiration really comes from within your soul. So you can't really get yourself inspired forcefully. Having said that it's not that difficult as well and definitely not costly at all. It just needs some peace of mind and a chance for yourself. Sometimes we take special time off, go thousand of miles, and still feel nothing, and sometimes a child on street looking for food in a dustbin can really inspire you to change a life. It just takes a moment to get inspired and lifelong consistency to achieve that.
